On Friday, November 13th, the University of Central Florida dedicated a statue to Dr. Charles N. Millican, the founding president of the university. Dr. Millican and his wife, Frances, were in attendance, along with many family members and friends.

The statue is located in the Alumni Trust Plaza, in front of Millican Hall. The life-size bronze display is set atop a pedestal at the center of a spiral labyrinth. Hundreds of fiber-optic lights are embedded in the pedestal and walk-way.  For more photos from the event, please click here for a gallery.
