The Albin Polasek Museum and Sculpture Garden is looking for 10 volunteers to help paint the courtyard wall under the direction of Byron Walker, Museum Facilities Director. The sculpture garden at the Albin Polasek Museum is home to many native Florida and subtropical species. Many of the sculptures were created by Polasek after he survived a debilitating stroke which left him paralyzed on the left side of his body. Yet he continued to paint, draw, sculpt clay, and with assistance, carve stone. These beautiful gardens inspired Polasek's art and are part of his impactful legacy.
All participants will need to fill out a COVID-19 waiver, liability waiver, and a volunteer agreement in order to particapte in this event.
