Science on Tap is back, pouring a fresh round of curiosity into the community where science meets good company. This time, we’re featuring voices from archaeology and forensic science coming together at the local brewery.
The evening features Rachael Kangas, M.A., RPA, Director for the West Central and Central Regions of the Florida Public Archaeology Network, alongside Matthieu Baudelet, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Chemistry with the National Center for Forensic Science and a joint appointment in Anthropology at UCF. Each speaker will share how they explore how bones, chemistry and context connect to uncover evidence, interpret history and reveal deeper human stories.
From cemeteries as outdoor museums to chemical tools that help identify remains, this event celebrates how different sciences intersect in surprising and meaningful ways.
Sip something tasty, swap stories and enjoy a night of unapologetic nerding out. Curiosity is always on tap, see you there!
