The University of Central Florida, in partnership with Dr. Phillips Charities, is proud to announce that Jonathan M. Tisch, Chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels & Co and Co-Chairman of the Board and member of the Office of the President of Loews Corporation, will serve as the featured speaker for Crossroads: The Intersection of Business and Philanthropy, on November 15 at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater.
The public is invited to hear Tisch share his views about how a successful business — and individual entrepreneurs — have an important role to play in improving their communities through philanthropy. Moderator Barbara Bowden, Area Managing Director for Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando and inductee for the 2022 UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management Hall of Fame, will engage Mr. Tisch in a “fireside chat” format, asking him to respond to questions about his life, work and being a good neighbor where you live and work.
Guests are invited to submit questions in advance for Mr. Tisch via email to donorrelations@ucf.edu.
The crossroads where business and philanthropy intersect often is the engine that drives the success and well-being of individual lives and entire communities. The Crossroads Lecture Series is one example of how Dr. Phillips Charities and UCF work in partnership to improve our educational programming and the health and vitality of downtown Orlando, Central Florida and beyond.
