In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions in honor of Edward A. Haddad. Gifts will be used to provide scholarship awards to medical students in the UCF College of Medicine.
Edward Haddad worked as a standardized patient for the UCF College of Medicine. Standardized patients are individuals who are specially trained to act as patients for the instruction, practice and assessment of medical examination skills of medical students, fellows, residents and other health care providers. He loved the job and enjoyed working with the students. He was also a former president of LIFE at UCF — the Learning Institution for Elders — and helped spearhead its partnership with the university.
