Parent & family philanthropy

Dear Parents,

I care deeply about lots of things at UCF. Number one is my status as a proud UCF Alumna and Parent of 2021 graduate with a degree in in legal studies. Another is athletics — I hold season tickets to Knights football, and I love to attend games with my family.

I am also passionate about giving back. I believe it takes a community to help young adults succeed in higher education. When parents are able to contribute more to help students other than their own, it enhances the quality of the university experience for all.

That's why I did not hesitate when I was asked to serve as Chair of the Parent & Family Philanthropy Council at UCF.

With a student body as large and economically diverse as UCF's, there is no shortage of ways to be of service. I hope you'll join me and other UCF Parents to support Knights whose parents might not be able to help.

I look forward to working with you to make a difference in the lives of all Knights.

The PFPC is a leadership board of parent volunteers who serve a one-year renewable term. Members enjoy developing a connection with the university and with each other, and many parent volunteers choose to stay active on the committee even after their children graduate.

The Council's goals are to raise awareness, increase philanthropic support, and become more involved with the university to enhance the UCF experience for all Knights.

To join the PFPC, please fill out our interest form.

What are the requirements of the PFPC?

  • Make a leadership gift commensurate with philanthropic capacity and passion for UCF;

give to the parent & family fund

Last year, almost 2,200 parents gave about $1.5 million to support important student programs like like Wellness and Health Promotion Services, which was able to pivot due to COVID-19 and use funding to launch a hand-washing initiative for Knights; Knights Helping Knights Pantry, which provides food, clothing and toiletries to students in need; and Career Services, to help Knights prepare for their professional careers after graduation.

Please join other UCF Parents and give now to support student programs through the Parent & Family Fund.
