Gifts made in Bruce Ream's memory will be used to provide scholarship support to students studying at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management.
Bruce Ream was a 35-year veteran of the Central Florida travel and hospitality industry, including senior-level marketing and sales positions at Boardwalk & Baseball, Mears Transportation and Tempus Resorts. Bruce will be best remembered for his role as Vice President of International & Domestic Tourism Marketing and Sales for Universal Orlando Resort, where he was responsible for overseeing all sales and marketing activities for Universal's theme parks, onsite hotels and entertainment venues.
He was an active member of the Travel Industry Association of American, the American Resort Development Association, the Florida Division of Tourism Marketing Committee and the Orlando Convention & Visitors Bureau Marketing Committee.Bruce was a passionate sports fan, supporting his hometown teams including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers and Pirates. He was endeared by all for his warm personality and sense of humor.
