Building a Library of String Instruments
Did you know that the String Section of the UCF Orchestra has nearly doubled in size, from 29 members just five years ago to 55 today? Unfortunately, many of our students matriculate to UCF with the same instruments they were using in middle school and are unable to afford instruments that can take them to the next level. These students need an instrument that is a partner in their artistic progress. Access to high grade instruments gives them the tools to excel personally and this impact will magnify, benefitting the whole orchestra and our audiences who enjoy hearing their music.
