Priority Funding Areas

Thank you for choosing to give to the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Your gift will go right to work. A few of our featured funds include:

Dean’s Excellence Fund supports various areas of the College for students, faculty and staff and is used at the Dean’s discretion.

CECS General Scholarships support scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students.

First Generation CECS Scholarships support scholarships for first-generation engineering and computer science students. All gifts to this fund are tripled through the State of Florida’s 2:1 match.

CECS eli2 program supports the engineering leadership and innovation institute, which aims to transform undergraduate students into skilled professionals and leaders in industry.

EXCEL program aims to increase student success in STEM, focusing on the first two years of college and building a community to support discovery and engagement.

GEMS and WiSE Program support students in the STEM fields through mentorship and community building.

Donors can join the Dean’s Compass Society with an annual gift of $1000 or more (or $500 for young alumni and friends under 32 years of age) to any College of Engineering and Computer Science fund.

Interested in giving monthly? A donation of $84 (or $42 for young alumni) as a recurring monthly gift is a great option for joining!

Membership to the Compass Society will also grant you membership to the UCF President’s Circle.
