Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question about your priority points? Most of the questions we receive are answered in the sections below. However, if you have any other questions or need further information about your priority points, please visit the Contact Us page.

What are priority points?

Priority Point seating programs are common in intercollegiate athletics to determine donor ranking for seating allocations. The UCF Priority Points program was introduced in 2006 to UCF fans and donors. The priority point system awards priority points based on a number of different criteria.

Black (home points) are utilized for season ticket seat relocation for home events. Gold (away) points are utilized for in purchasing away athletic events such as bowl games, conference tournaments or NCAA Tournaments.

Under the Tax Reform Act of 2018, athletic giving in exchange for the right to purchase tickets or seating at an athletic event in a university’s stadium can no longer take a charitable deduction; therefore any giving after Dec. 31, 2017, must not be used for stadium seat location to remain a charitable deduction.

How do I start accumulating points?

  1. Purchase season tickets
  2. Make a gift to the ChargeOn Fund

You can continue to earn priority points by making annual donations to the ChargeOn Fund or renewing your season tickets.

Where can I find my priority points?

In order to access your account to view your priority points you must register on the UCF Priority Points website. Please use the same e-mail address that is used for your UCF Account Manager. You will be creating a new account on this website with a new password, different than your UCF Account Manager password.

My spouse and I both graduated from UCF. Who has the priority points account?

Both parties have a priority points account because of your 5 points awarded for being a graduate. The black (home) points will be in the account of the individual who manages your season tickets.

My spouse and I are UCF Alumni and Varsity Knights. Do we both get gold (away) priority points for this?

Yes, you will both be awarded Alumni points and Varsity Knight points. This only applies to gold (away) points and not black (home) points. Don’t see it reflected in your points? Contact us and we will work on an adjustment.

What do charitable donations to the ChargeOn Fund help support?

Charitable donations to the ChargeOn Fund support the success of our students on the field, the court and in the classroom. With a record setting 30 consecutive semesters of a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher, our student-athletes continue to excel. The educational opportunities and resources provided by philanthropic gifts to the ChargeOn Fund make this possible.

Are my priority points transferable?

Once points are accumulated within an account, they cannot be separated, transferred, or redistributed. Priority points must stay within the account they originated. This applies to all examples of accounts but not limited to corporate partners, businesses, spousal relationships, and individuals. Points are non-transferable.
